Tabarok distributed at the Dargah. It is a mixture of rice, sugar with added spicies and ofcourse loads of dry fruits
My opinion: It is wastage of money and whatever it takes to make it.
Better, if they would distribute the money among poor or make something different, Maybe Halwa.

                                   

Taweez Pan: Strings colored red and yellow.You will see them everywhere in Ajmer, being sold somewhere or tied on gates, safes, on windows and wherever people think is suitable to get the special attention of  the sufi saint.

Babul Jannat or Janati Darwaza: It is one of the entrances of the main graveyard of Khawja Garib Nawaz.It is usually closed. The guy in green and his father earn their living by just being at the gate and hitting on the head of devotees with the broom (Made of Peacock feathers),  as a sign of blessing.They suppose you to pay a little amount in return of their service. 

Qawal or the Musicians: After every single prayer, there is a Qawali session.There are no permanent Qawals.There are many groups.They come, perform, grab the attention and get their pockets filled, depending on the quality of the content and the voice of the vocalist.

                                                 

If America,China and Russia were to play cricket.

I would love America,China and Russia to play international Cricket because of the fierce rivalry and competitiveness that would result from these nations inclusion. Think about it, America playing Vs Russia, or Russia playing Vs China or be it the third combination. oh God! if ACR started playing international Cricket it would make the game of Cricket even more competitive and even more enjoyable.And more than that, there would be a drastic change in the format and the use of technology.the first thing that hits my mind is the replacement of Umpires by some artificial Intelligent Device like the one shown Below.

Energy crisis in Kashmir.

                  Kashmir, known (mistakenly) to be the paradise on the earth, is a victim of energy deficiency or power crisis.Although, it is not the destiny, but it has been created.We the people of  Kashmir have always been supposed to compromise on everything we should have.I mean, Right now when i am writing this blog, i have to save it word by word because you never know when the computer is gonna die (Due to power cut).You are always on the good humour of the person sitting in the power control room (I mean sub-grid station).i think these guys love to play with the control buttons (changeover switches).There is one more important fact that if there is a marriage being celebrated in the next door neighbor's house, then two conditions will apply on the power schedule (a) If the Guy (Employee at the power station ) at the control room has been invited, then you are definitely going to get uninterrupted power supply for the full course of marriage, even if the  (b) otherwise, hire a generator for the backup, even if the schedule is in your favour.It is not the Employees only who are to be blamed, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are equally responsible.
    Analysis of the Whole problem:
           Now Let's stop this blame game and try to find out the solution of this problem.
The problem starts from the inadequate availability of Electricity.Let's have a look.

         After complete failure of Vista the launch of WIN 7 has saved microsoft from getting lost in the silicon valley. Although there are a few buggs in the new OX still it has taken MS to the top of the list from the bottom.
 Here is How.

•  Win 7 installation is so easy and it gets installed within a couple of minutes lika a regular software.it is also easy to install than any operating system till date.anyone, who was not able to install OX before can install it (i can bet on that).

• The first thing that grabs the attention of the user is the hot Desktop and the cool Wallpapers
• taskbar has also been given a new look.
• Although Windows mediaplayer is lacking codecpack but still it is better than that in windows XP (what ever the service pack).
• The snipping tool, The Desktop Widgets, The scientific Calculator, The new Paint etc have added the taste to it.
•  sticky notes, journal Document, Contact list have given a rid of the ordinary notepad or the word pad.
• Firewall has been made a bit stronger.
• The networking has also been made secure and easy to use.
• control panel has also been given a new look.
• The local search host gives you a feel of Google search on your computer.Now you don't have to hunt for the files through drives and folders, Just type the name of the file and you get it within a few milli seconds.

                 there is much more to see.So install win 7 today and enjoy the new generation operating system.

DB 9 to RS 232 cable.

                        This type of cable is used for connecting various wireless terminals (like LG-340, LG FWT etc ) with the computer.DB-9 female port is used on one side and RJ-45 on the other side.


This cable is rarely available in market.Now all you need is to get a 2-3 metre 4-pair networking cable and attach the ports on either sides.COM port usually needs soldering iron to fix but the other one requires a crimmping tool.

  IN kashmir BSNL usually provides internet through the said WLLS.so if you have one but no connecting cable.you can make it and enjoy surfing you net.

     One of my friends has both laptop and desktop computers.He is always stuck on how to transfer the data between the two.I think many people face the same problem.the solution of the same is to get a networking crossover cable.Now if you are residing in kashmir, then don't expect it to be available in the local market.you can make the same cable at home and here is how.

All you need is a 2-3 metre 4 pair networking cable (which is easily available in srinagar) and a crimping tool.You can check the cable by a low cost cable checker.
